The VALUE trial is testing a study medicine called EscharEx® to see if it can safely and effectively help clean wounds by removing damaged tissue and help the growth of healthy tissue. These important steps help prepare the wound so it can be closed—either with a skin graft or other advanced treatments—to speed up healing.
